In modern gastronomy

In professional gastronomy, a kitchen appliance called a combi oven is often used, which is used to prepare tasty dishes. The combi oven has many uses, it is suitable for the preparation of all kinds of meat, vegetables, side dishes, baked dishes, desserts and pastries. The combi oven offers many ways of cooking food such as cooking, pre-cooking, steaming, stewing, baking, baking, low-temperature or slow baking, sous-vide, confit, smoking, drying, grilling, grilling, roasting, frying, poaching, blanching, regeneration, sterilization or shock cooling.

Pastries from all over the world

Pastries have been present in Czech cuisine since time immemorial. It is usually prepared from wheat or rye flour. Today, the demand for spelled, corn and buckwheat flour is also growing. Other ingredients include water, milk, salt, sugar, yeast, fat, eggs, and possibly nuts, raisins, poppies or cumin. Each country produces its own specific pastry. As such, pastries have many shapes, flavors and shapes. They also differ in the content of ingredients, possible methods of preparation and the imagination of bakers.

Pastry recipes

In each country, pastries typical of the area have been created for many generations. Pastries serve as a side dish to a main course, as a snack or breakfast. The bread itself has thousands of forms - white bread, nan bread, pita bread, chapati bread, foccacia bread, ciabatta bread… Ciabatta is Italian bread smeared with garlic, baked in olive oil and sprinkled with cheese. Served as a side dish to soups and other dishes. Foccacia also originates in Italy, it is made from pizza-like dough. It has the shape of a round pancake and is flavored with olive oil, herbs and garlic. An integral part of Indian cuisine are Indian bread pancakes. The types of Indian bread include: bhútory, čapátí, nán, purí… Nán bread is baked in a hot tandori oven and served immediately after baking. Chapati bread is prepared in India, Nepal and Pakistan. These are unleavened pancakes prepared from wheat flour, oil, ground pepper, water and salt and baked dry on a plate. Pita is an Arabic bread pocket filled with various fillings. A baguette or croissant is typical for France. There are local specialties in Czech cuisine, such as Judas, God's grace and classic buns. Martin's stag beetles and rolls have been prepared for many centuries in Czech kitchens to celebrate St. Martin. Sweet pastries include donuts, various types of scarves and cakes or foreign bisquit, donut and churros.
